Based in Riverdale, California, JND Thomas Co., Inc. has developed a way to clean ponds and restore them to their original capacity. Joe Thomas, his sons Nick & Dennis and his nephew Frank have a long history in the agricultural business. Together they run JND Thomas Co., Inc. Joe who ran cattle and a hay business, now helps run the day to day operations of JND Thomas by performing many of the behind the scene tasks required by the business. Nick Thomas can usually be found out in the 60’ reach excavator or taking care of the detail work involved in setting up a complete system on a dairy. Dennis Thomas is the CEO of JND Thomas and has become the key person in dealing with municipalities and special dredging projects. Frank Thomas is in charge of working with agricultural customers and dredging crews.

JND Thomas Co., Inc. started the business when we saw that their dairymen were having lagoon capacity problems. By adapting technology that was developed in the 1970’s to clean water supplies for municipalities we were able to start using this process in the dairy lagoons. Over the years JND Thomas has completed a wide variety of specialized dredge projects, including the Bird Island Development in San Diego, Harbor Cleaning in Monterey, California and Biosolids removal and disposal in Cashmere, Washington and Napa, California, just to name a few. The company provides 24-hour service, which allows completion of the job in a timely fashion. With 60’ reach excavators; we are also able to handle sand, weeds and crushed materials. We have also implemented a Dewatering system that has expanded our versatility.

During the past ten years, JND Thomas Co., Inc. has worked with many different Aeration and Circulation systems and now markets an aerator called the Vortitech. The Vortitech has become an innovative leading product in the animal waste industry and power, reducing leader in the Municipal Market.
